An all-in-one car aircon machine recovers and recycles the refrigerant, flushes old oil and debris out of the system, leak tests, pulls a vacuum and recharges the refrigerant and oil. Flushing matters most after a compressor failure, when contaminated black oil spreads through the condenser, pipes and evaporator.
The service, step by step
- Recover pull the refrigerant out of the car into the machine.
- Recycle clean the recovered refrigerant for reuse.
- Flush push cleaning fluid through to carry out old oil and debris.
- Leak test and vacuum confirm the system holds and remove air and moisture.
- Recharge inject the right oil and the right amount of refrigerant.
When to flush
After a compressor failure, or when the oil comes out dark, flush before fitting the new compressor. Debris left in the system can destroy the new part.
What to look for in a machine
- Automatic operation with on-screen prompts, so any technician can run it.
- Refrigerant database charge amounts by car model.
- Oil selection PAG for most cars, POE for hybrid electric compressors.
- Printed report to show the customer what was done.
- Non-condensable gas purge keeps recycled refrigerant clean.
The machines we supply
CSKA supplies SP ZONE's SPZ-FA1 (8.4-inch display, PAG or hybrid POE oil) and SPZ6000 (9-inch display, bigger cylinder, three fans and condenser).
Questions
Can I use the same oil for hybrid cars?
No. Hybrids with electric compressors usually need POE oil, because PAG oil can affect the compressor's insulation. Choose a machine that lets you select the oil.
How do I know a system needs flushing?
Dark or black oil, metal particles or a failed compressor are the usual signs.
